Aged in a bourbon barrel since 2013, this dark and opaque sour or “Shadow,” with hints of roast & maltiness, definitely makes its presence known. The spooky dark beauty of this sour is produced by lactobacillus acidophilus, during the ale’s 2.5 years in the bourbon barrel.
