Beer Description
Dubbed “Shoeless Joe” our special release for SF Beer Week 2016 is our bigger, bolder take on the American Brown Ale. Rolled oats and chocolate malt contribute the perfect combination of bold, roasted flavor and caramel sweetness. After primary fermentation, we conditioned this ale on a blend of freshly roasted Guatemalan Coffee beans from Barefoot Coffee Roasters out of San Jose, CA. The result is a dark, smooth, and wonderfully coffee-forward ale with hints of cacao and vanilla.
