Ein Bier is our series of one-off beers that are not bound by stylistic guidelines. Literally translated as “a beer”, Ein Bier will be a rotating brew subject to our head brewer’s whimsy and palate. The first in this series, Ein Bier #1 pours a milky gold with stark white cap of foam and might remind an experienced drinker of a classic Wit, but you can’t always trust what you see. Citrus and bready yeast aromas that become increasingly flowery as it warms, there’s no mistaking this is not a Wit. Clean lager fermentation character and firm bittering result in a crisp dry finish.
