Beer Description
Some beers define entire nations, American IPA, Czech Pilsner, and Irish Stout to name but three. If you walk into any pub in England, the staple is best bitter. As the name suggests, the heart of an English best bitter is the hops, but the English varieties are not the grapefruit and pine resin bombs so beloved of American pale ales. English hops are spicy, earthy, and bring a citrus flavour not unlike Seville oranges to the table.
