Hopewell All Hope

Essentially our F+F Saison turned sour! With slightly higher ABV, and lower bitterness, which allows the gentle tartness to shine through. In the brewhouse, the beer is inoculated with lactic acid producing bacteria and allowed to sour overnight before it is boiled and fermented like a normal beer. In this way we get a gentle tartness from the start of the process instead like most sours, a sharper acidity from souring after fermentation. Reminiscent of grapefruit juice, or lemonade on a hot day, this beer is a palate cleanser. Meant to be enjoyed as a complex compliment to our saison, or enjoyed in its own right.
