Beer Description
PALE DOG is an homage to our chairman. Full of character with a dry and crisp finish.
We start with a base of the highest quality Pilsner and Pale Ale malt we could find. We blend a small amount of Vienna malt to add distinct character and mouthfeel, then mash at a lower temperature to ensure plenty of fermentable sugars. Throughout the boil we use all domestic hop varieties that are higher in alpha acids and lend toward flavors of grapefruit and tropical fruit. Starting with Centennial and moving into Cascade the kettle hop additions provide a noticeable, lingering bitterness and finishes with a whollop of hop flavor and enticing aroma.
