Beer Description
Bright berry, tangerine and candied orange hop aroma is accentuated by a peachy ester quality on the nose.
Continental Drift is a collaboration between Florida’s Cigar City Brewing and California’s Knee Deep Brewing Co.
For this collab, we wanted to turn the whole continent on its ear and brew a West Coast-style IPA in Florida and an East Coast-style IPA in California.
This beer is unique in that it uses hops processed in four different ways: extract, pellets, whole leaf, and lupulin powder. These diverse hop formats create more hop complexity.
Bright berry, tangerine and candied orange hop aroma is accentuated by a peachy ester quality on the nose. Bready malt flavor and moderate residual sweetness balance an assertive but tempered bitterness and stone fruit flavor.
