Chicory flavor is right on the nose and has a nice bittersweet chocolate finish. Lightly hopped for a nice balance, with locally grown Perle hops,
Trying to keep our flavors local, this brew is full of flavor and local ingredients. Chicory root is often used as a coffee substitute. Unlike coffee, chicory can actually grow in Central NY. The Chicory flavor is right on the nose and has a nice bittersweet chocolate finish. Lightly hopped for a nice balance, with locally grown Perle hops, this beer is one for the porter lover!
