Beer Description
Summer is over, but fall isn鈥檛 quite here yet. We鈥檝e got the beer for you. Dead Red is an India Red Ale meant to bridge the divide between hoppy summer IPAs and malty fall beers. Brewed with German Red X and Munich malts, Dead Red has a striking red hue. Fermented with a Pacific Ale yeast strain, this low attenuating yeast leaves enough residual sugar behind to give it a malty backbone. Hopped like an IPA with loads of Crystal and Amarillo, the hop flavors present a surprisingly sweet, complimentary flavor profile to the malty body. Enjoy the last days of summer with the delicious specialty IPA, and ease your palate into the wonderful season of fall colors and flavors.
