Beer Description
An American-style IPA on its head using spicy locally-grown Fuggles hops, a variety that is typically used in British beer styles such as porters and strong ale
The result is a quenching IPA full of earthy herbal aromatics with hints of pear and apricot. Golden Promise malt, GoldPils malt, flaked barley, Magnum hops, Fuggle hops, pure local water and pure ale yeast combine to create a snappy, assertive bitterness and toasty malt—a perfect balance for when the leaves turn and the weather cools. Pelican brewers challenge any IPA lover to keep from saying “Fuggles Yeah!” after the first sip.
