Beer Description
India Pale Ale originated as a style due to necessity during the British Imperial era, as hops were added to keep beer fresh on the long voyage to India.
We’ve added rye to this beer to add a dry and spicy note to the bitterness of the hops to help balance the sweetness of the malt, and for that reason the IBUs are not as high as you may typically find in IPAs, especially American IPAs.
