Meet your new favorite English-Style Pale Ale, commonly known as an “Extra Special Bitter” (ESB). Our British friends across the pond don’t associate the word bitter with “hoppy” as these brews focus more on malt character than American Pale Ales. Based with a UK variety of 2 Row Pale and Caramel Malts then lightly hopped with Fuggle and English Style Kent Goldings this beers true character shines in its all day drinkability, weighing in at just 4.1% ABV. It pours a beautiful amber hue with an earthy and herbal character subdued by floral hop bitterness in the finish. This ESB is a showcase for high-quality specialty hops and a strong malt backbone in a classic English styling.
