Lost Borough Ghost Pepper

Meet the Story of the Ghost Pepper Porter, the first release in our Atlantic Ave Breweries Collaboration Series with Three Heads Brewing. Engineered from the beginning by both of our head brewers, the story of this capsicum-laced temptation centers around the 9oz addition of Ghost Peppers grown in Three Heads Brewer Bruce Lish’s own garden. The result is a beer that won’t make you breathe fire, but has just a hint of warming heat to compliment this porters dark malty character. The building blocks of this beer are NYS Pale, Brown, and Chocolate Malts bittered slightly with the addition of Magnum and Equinox hops. To differentiate from the front end chocolate notes the beer finishes dry and crisp with a hint of spiciness from the pepper that lingers on the palate, gently warming, and inviting the next sip.
