Beer Description
An easy-to-drink, easy-to-like ale with a clear, deep garnet color, light sweet malt and fruit flavors, undertones of burnt caramel, chocolate, and toffee.
A Northern English Brown, which is aptly named for the Brown Brothers, who aided in the founding of Rochester back in 1817. A full malt backbone of Pilsner, Pale, Brown, Crystal and Amber malts provide a rich complex malt character aided by the addition of Roasted Barely and Flaked Corn. However its distinguished flavor is melded from the addition of it’s english style Warrior, Golding and Liberty hop blend. Even more distinctive is the addition of a full 8lbs of Dark Brown Sugar. The result is an easy-to-drink, easy-to-like ale with a clear, deep garnet color, light sweet malt and fruit flavors, undertones of burnt caramel, chocolate, and toffee in the finish. This brown ale is truly worthy of its name.
