This malty ale is brewed with citrusy hops and a portion of hibiscus for color. it exhibits a red hue and tangy finish.
We brew this beer with hibiscus, using the ingredient in the same way they do in the Caribbean to make sorrel drink. It’s boiled like bittering hops, added late like aroma hops, and again with the dry hop. So, you get the full flavor, aroma and color of the hibiscus riding on the smooth malty backbone of this amber ale. It’s slightly sweet, with a tangy finish!
