Beer Description
Light copper in color from the Crystal Specialty and Maris Otter malts, it’s complimented by Golding Hops and Czech Pilsner yeast.
The name isn’t a reference to a Wilco song, but you may be able to figure the one we’re going for. With certain terms being trademarked by the makers of a well known example, produced by anyone else this style is referred to as a “California Common”. Huh? The key element of this pre-prohibition style beer is the process of fermenting it with a lager yeast at an ale-like higher temperature.
