Beer Description
This full bodied dark ale was brewed with seven different malt varieties, but most notably consists of Bamberg-style Rauchmalz (smoked malt). Rauchmalz is kilned just like any other kind of brewer’s malt, except that the kiln is packed with beechwood. The smoke carries into the malt, and later into the finished beer, producing a unique libation that quite literally smells like a campfire. As the days get shorter and the temperature gets colder, this beer is sure to stick to your ribs and keep you warm.
