Beer Description
Kahuna Shake is an homage to everything you want in January… aka drinking something tropical in Hawaii and not giving a god damn about a diet.
The weirdest trend of 2017 is making a comeback, and you better believe we’re gonna put it in our Hype Can series. With over 700 pounds of tropical fruit and 100 pounds of juicy Citra/Amarillo hops in the batch, it almost needs to be served with an umbrella in it. But hey, it’s still an IPA, so even with all of that overt fruit-character up front, it still finishes nice and dry like a well-aged hula-skirt. Speaking of the finish, it’d be a shame not to bring up the fact that we’re using Lactose in the fermentation, meaning that the body on the beer is gonna be big and fluffy like that dude Israel Kamakawiwo?ole, minus the Ukelele
