A Belgian strong dark ale inspired by Belgium’s famous Trappist breweries. Imported Belgian pilsner and pale malts, along with two types of candi syrup, work together to create this high-ABV beer. A warm fermentation with Belgian ale yeast and lots of simple sugars combine in this recipe to create rich notes of dark fruit and spices. While undoubtedly strong, this beer finishes with a subtle sweetness.
