Considered an English Old Ale, tastes of baked brown bread, molasses, and figs rise up from a boozy bourbon monster.
Legendary old ale from a recovered 1852 recipe, this old ale sailed again in 1952 at the one hundredth anniversary from London to New York. Our brewmaster is almost solely responsible for it’s return to modern tastes. Considered an English Old Ale, tastes of baked brown bread, molasses, and figs rise up from a boozy bourbon monster at 11.2 % abv.
