Beer Description
Occasionally our crew gets to live the fantasy that many of our fans romanticize about – sitting around, beer in hand, discussing what to brew next.
In fact, this is how we came up with what will eventually become our next Annual Release. This year, inspired equally by the flavors of the beers we sampled as by the high alcohol contents of many of them, the crew here decided to pay homage to the Mayans. Using malted barley and flaked corn along with smoky chipotle, spicy habaneros, and cocoa nibs, this year’s beer is perhaps our most unique yet. So, whether the December 2012 end of the Mayan calendar means the end of the world or not, we wouldn’t chance waiting to try this beer.
