Beer Description
aromas of sweet malt, chocolate, dark fruit and coffee; taste is creamy and sweet balanced by bitter notes of cocoa and coffee and a dry finish
ReuZ Raisin Stout (ABV 9.5%) is brewed by Het Nest Brewery in Belgium from a recipe by Reuzenbieren Brewery in the Netherlands.
Made with Lager, Amber, and Chocolate malts, Chinook and Willamette hops, and Nottingham yeast, the brew also gets additions of orange peel, raisins, and brown candy sugar. It is unfiltered, unpasteurized, and refermented in the bottle.
It pours nearly black, with a tan head and aromas of sweet malt, chocolate, dark fruit and coffee. Taste is creamy and sweet, with more dark fruits balanced by bitter notes of cocoa and coffee, and a dry finish.
