Beer Description
Tennessee Rye IPA 5% brewed with Bairds Malt in collaboration with Tennessee Brew Works Brewery, Tennessee, USA.
Our latest collaboration is with Tennessee based brewery, . This year’s , which includes the presentation from the World Cup of Beer, will be held in Tennessee where our collaborative beer will be available. Very fashionable in the US the beer will be a 5% IPA but using some Rye malt and top of range UK Pale and Crystal malts from Bairds, who supplies malt to both ourselves and Brew Works.
The name of the beer derives from the fact that Bairds Malt was founded in 1823 which happens to be the year that Hugh Glass was attacked and mauled by a grizzly bear and left for dead in the wilds of South Dakota. He crawled 200 miles before reaching help, events depicted in the Oscar winning movie The Revenant.
