Beer Description
To achieve the hoppy 50 IBUs, three different hops additions were employed: a large amount of German Hallertauer Magnum as flavor hops, and two separate additions of Aurora and First Gold hops for aroma/finishing.
This limited edition was brewed using an old decoction technique (seldom used in the industry these days and even different than the method Bayern usually uses). Also, to achieve the hoppy 50 IBUs, three different hops additions were employed: a large amount of German Hallertauer Magnum as flavor hops, and two separate additions of Aurora and First Gold hops for aroma/finishing.
