Clemson Brothers Porter's Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter

A Porter gets its’ name from the the processing of the malt, where malt is dried at very high temperature resulting to the point of partly charring. The resulting effect is a dark-brown roasty medium-bodied beer with a lot of complexities. Take a sip and it will be hard to distinguish between a glass of fermented grain and a Peanut Butter Cup. A truly magical brew perfect for the colder months because of it is reminiscent of bitter dark chocolate and creamy peanut butter. ​ ​Sweet and succulent up front, dark chocolate in the middle, mild but noticeably roasted aftertaste. This seemed like a good enough time as any to give a beer the surname of our proprietors, The Porter Family, so let’s raise a glass and “Cheers”!
