Beer Description
Proving Ground is one of Magnolia’s most-loved and asked-for beers, an over-the-top IPA we’ve been brewing since 1999. It’s a hybrid, built around English Maris Otter malt, but then packed with a powerful hop charge like an American “west-coast” IPA. A blend of Cascade, Citra and Galaxy hops dominate, but the malt comes through as an interesting counterpoint that is not often found in this style of beer.
