The Helles Marzen Krausen Blend starts out as a normal Helles Schlenkerla Lager. Just before filling it is blended using the “Aufkrausen” method with the classic Marzen Rauchbier. The result is an unfiltered, bottom-fermented Marzen lager blend of amber color and with a vibrant and slightly smoky flavor
