Berliner Berg/North Brewing Tea für Two

In the spring of 2015, we, a small team of beer enthusiasts, moved into the vacant rooms of a former lard factory in Berlin’s Neukölln district. In this traditional brewery area we found a home and space for creative work. In the shed of the listed building, we have built a specialty brewery and with her the Bergschloss, our cozy taproom.

At the heart of our Neukölln beer portfolio is the original Berliner Weisse; Brewed with wild yeasts, as the classic brewing style dictates. In addition, we create under the name “Bergschloss series” again and again new, exciting beers in exclusive small edition.

Tea for Two – Berliner Weisse with elderflower and lime
We’ve teamed up with our friends from North Brewing Co. to brew a beer, which is distinctive and unique to both of us.
For us from Berliner Berg it was clear that we wanted to celebrate our passion for Berlin’s own sour beer, the Berliner Weisse. For North Brewing Co. of Leeds, UK, we focused on the love of the British for tea infusion.
Our Elderflower & Limes Berliner Weisse is brewed with our in-house yeast & bacteria, plus a generous amount of elderflower tea. Afterwards, the beer is matured and refined on juicy organic limes and a Brettanomyces culture. The result: a pleasant bitterness with balanced fruit notes, our Tea for Two.
