Brewed in collaboration with our friends (and neighbors) at Grano Arso, we modified our Tintype brown ale to feature hand toasted rye malt and flaked triticale.
Brewed in collaboration with our friends (and neighbors) at Grano Arso (just three doors down!), we modified our Tintype brown ale to feature hand toasted rye malt and flaked triticale grown right here in Connecticut. The balance of Tintype remains, but some subtle rye spice is thrown into the mix as well. Lighter bodied, this is named for a similar form of early photography, where the image was developed on a plate of glass as opposed to tin.
