Beer Description
This beer was conceived from a chance interaction. Answering a random phone call to the brewery, I was asked โdo you have any use for black currant juice?โ My reply, โno, but I will find oneโ brought this bottle to your hand.
In the tradition of centuries of European brewing, we decided that blending the cassis juice with a Belgian-Style wheat beer was a natural course of action. The finest European Pilsner malt with malted and unmalted wheat form the base of this fine ale. The subtle flavors of German hops build on the fine malt base. A final touch is added with the addition of cold pressed cassis juice and wildflower honey, both sourced from local farms. We hope you have as much fun enjoying this fine ale as we had creating it!
