Beer Description
Pat Berger of Paddy Long’s along with Michael Roper of The Hopleaf were invited to Dovetail Brewery to help select some choice barrels of spontaneously fermented, wood barrel aged beer. After sampling over a dozen different barrels, two stood out as outstanding examples of this ancient brewing tradition. Funky, complex but not overpowering with a subtle tartness, this exclusive blend formulated by two local publicans whose passion for beer is legendary, is extremely limited and will only be sold at the brewery and Pat’s and Michael’s establishments for a very short time. —PB
