Beer Description
Tripel aged in bourbon barrels and then blended with local, cold-brewed coffee. Features notes of caramel, bourbon, and coffee.
Barrel & Bean is brewed with a blend of 2-row malted barley and hopped with Nugget and Hallertau. After fermenting on house yeast and aging in bourbon barrels for just shy of two months, Allagash adds cold-brewed coffee from a local coffee roaster, Speckled Ax. The finished beer features notes of caramel, bourbon, and coffee.
