Beer Description
FSB’s flagship DIPA is named after our brewmaster’s elder daughter, with the version number
corresponding to her age. The hops used in the recipe change with each version, giving each
release a new and distinctive profile. Built on a clean Pilsner and two-row pale malt base, v4.5 is
crafted to be a mega-IPA that showcases the Citra and Simcoe lupulin powder used during brewing
as well as the dry-hopping with Centennial hops at a rate of 3.5 lbs. per barrel. The result is a beer
offering an intense aroma of grapefruit rind and resin with noticeable undertones of tangerine, a
juicy grapefruit/tangerine taste profile, and a finish with medium rind bitterness. Believe it or not,
no actual fruit was used in this beer!
