Civil Life #Carlbock

​Crafted as an authentic Munich Helles, increased to Bock alcoholic strength, #Carlbock is a nice malty and hoppy golden lager, with lightly toasted notes, a hint of spice, and a crisp finish. Bigger than life but usually behaved, just like Mighty Carl, Patron Saint of many St. Louis area bars. The man himself is much harder to describe. Some would say handsome, charming, charitable, debonair (wait, what?!) who also happened to paint and tuck-point our entire building. Yeah, so? If you want a beer named after you too, we’ve got more huge chores around here that take 4 weeks to complete when sun bakes the entire place to a nice average temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Best yet, Carl showed up with his own supplies some days. God sent Carl to earth to be our friend.
