Beer Description
Cantaloupe Honey! This mead is made with pure, raw and untreated honey that was made by bees in the middle of a large cantaloupe field! We fermented this mead with blackberries and then aged it 8 months in very fresh California brandy barrels. Medium bodied with good sweetness which is very well balanced from the brandy barrel aging. Cantaloupe honey is by far the most expressive and true honey we have ever worked with. You will notice a nice blackberry depth to the finish of this mead as well as great hints of brandy.
