Expect big malty notes, gentle noble hop aroma and character, and plenty of backbone to warm the heart and soul.
Brewed true to German Rheinheitsgebot (purity) law, this beer contains only barley, water, hops, and yeast. Lagered for nearly two months, this beer represents a traditional märzen style German brewers historically brewed to celebrate the end of the brewing season in May. It was traditionally aged cool in caves three to four months before being tapped at the late September harvest festivals to kick off the new brewing season. Expect big malty notes, gentle noble hop aroma and character, and plenty of backbone to warm the heart and soul.
