Beer Description
Originally brewed to mark the Queen’s Coronation in 1953, this prize winning golden barley wine proved so popular that it has been brewed ever since. It is comparable in strength to the beer produced by Tudor brewers during the reign of Elizabeth I. Regular drinkers simply asked for a ‘Lizzie’.
