Beer Description
This 5.3% ABV beer is typical of a premium grade Scottish style ale. Its profile is bready, biscuity, and highlights light/medium colored caramel (yes like the candy). Scottish ales traditionally were boiled hard, to bring out the caramel flavors, which complement the bready base malts. Our 80 Schilling is well balanced between sweetness and bitterness, making it easy drinking on a hot summer day.
