An unfiltered rice beer, Makku is a modern take on Korea’s oldest alcoholic beverage, Makgeolli. For the first time drinker – Makku is an unanticipated and new experience.
The liquid is smooth and hazy from the rice, yet is refreshingly light with just a kiss of sweetness. Bubbles give it a champagne-like suggestiveness. For Makku Blueberry, we take 100% pureed blueberries and blend it into our original Makku for a smooth blueberry fizzy alcohol.
