Beer Description
The Spokane Riverkeeper is a non-profit group dedicated to protecting and restoring the health of the Spokane River Watershed.
Water is not only the foundation of life, it is the foundation of beer, so teaming up with the Spokane Riverkeeper to create a special edition of Riverkeeper Red was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.
To honor their work, we have taken our “Red” in a whole new direction. Using Nugget and Liberty hops from the Yakima Valley, we have created a hoppy version of our year-round River City Red. The Carapils and Special Roast malts give it a copper color and a wee bit of malt flavor, but they take a backseat to the crisp hop tones River City Brewing will be making a donation to the Spokane Riverkeeper for each keg of Riverkeeper Red sold.
