Beer Description
In honor of our anniversary, we give you a new twist on an old favorite with Special Hell: a Helles brewed with 100% Weyermann’s famous floor-malted Bohemian Pilsner Malt from Bamberg Germany, using techniques that are centuries old, to obtain the highest quality malt from the highest quality barley. Decoction mashing allows for a deep malt character and creamy, bready texture that is truly unique. Fermented using Andechs Bavarian lager yeast, and hopped with the use of 3 Noble hops: Hallertau, Hersbrucker, and Tettnang—all imported from Germany. Thanks to those who made the first years great, and those who will make the years to come even better—and prefer their lagers crafty!
