Beer Description
For this refreshing beer and cider hybrid we collaborated with our friend, Ben Nielsen at Lassen Traditional Cider. He gave us some fresh Granny Smith apple juice, and we blended it with our Ryed On wort. This style of cider and beer is called Graf. We then fermented this batch with lager yeast and dry-hopped it with Azacca hops. The finished product is wonderfully champagne-like and cider-like, even though it contains less than half apple juice. The aroma and flavor also lean toward the apple juice with just a slight hint of rye. The finish is extremely dry and refreshing. Stop by and get a taste and maybe pick-up a growler or two to share during this holiday season. We only have two partial kegs, so please come and check it out while we still have it on tap. Cheers!
