Beer Description
Harrow (5.2%) Foeder-fermented Rye Saison brewed with a 50/50 base of malted rye and NY-state pilsner malt, layered with a touch of red rye crystal malt for complexity, hopped generously with Zuper Saaz and Motueka.
This beer was fermented warm in one of our American Oak Foeders with our house clean saison blend. We allowed it to mature in oak then transferred the beer to stainless where it was hopped again Zuper Saaz, and Motueka.
This beer is bone dry but beautifully spicy and complex. Weโre tasting fresh cracked pepper, bright, pithy lime zest, melon, pear, and the last grass clippings of the season.
