This Norwegian style IPA is dank and fruity, with flavors of white wine, mango, and red hard candy
This Norwegian Style IPA is the result of an opportunity at some free yeast and New Barons Brewing Coop and Component Brewing deciding to make the most of it! Additionally, member-owner Mike Clutterbuck, who is a well versed Kveik homebrewer, shared his experience on the matter, which influenced the recipe. This super fast fermenting ale is dank and fruity, with flavors of white wine, mango, and red hard candy. The Kveik yeast used in the recipe originated from Voss, Norway – specifically from the family of Sigmund Gjernes, who still homebrews and cultivates this strain in his basement. In the spirit of homebrewers worldwide, we decided to honor our local homebrewing talent with the name.
