Beer Description
100% Columbus hops balance well with a light, spicier rye base.
Our rye Double IPA is made with a copious amount of 100% Columbus hops. A lighter malt build allows the dank, earthy hop character to balance well with the spicier rye base. Despite the higher alcohol, this beer is very drinkable.
Born out of heat stroke from a hot summer brew day, the name is shorthand for the Columbus hops used in making the beer. Simply by adding a period, the bold, fictitious character known as Col. Umbus was born.
