Beer Description
Hazy Double IPA as the base, loaded w/ Simcoe, Strata & NZ Waimea hops & carefully layered a blend of tropical fruits (Mango, Passionfruit) along w/ red & dark berries (Raspberry & Black Currant). There’s a touch of milk sugar & vanilla to round it out.
Fusing minds with the talented crew from Homes Brewery out of Ann Arbor, Michigan, we’re approaching a style that’s a challenge to us but one the Homes crew is known widely for; Sour & Fruited IPA. We’ve chosen a Hazy Double IPA as the base, loaded with Simcoe, Strata & NZ Waimea hops, and carefully layered a blend of tropical fruits (Mango, Passionfruit) along with red & dark berries (Raspberry & Black Currant). There’s a touch of milk sugar and vanilla to round out the acidity & intense hopping rate to provide balance. It really provides the best of both worlds; acidity and massive fruit character to those who enjoy sour beers with a dank / oily background and fluffy texture for hazy IPA lovers to embrace.
