Beer Description
Schmaltz’s Alt is a creamy smooth dark alt with quite the backstory.
In the 1930s, one of Warren Marti’s favorite pastimes was a trip to the city dump to shoot rats. In fact, it was a common date for he and his wife-to-be, Casey. The manager of the city dump was John Schmaltz. Warren earned the nickname “Schmaltz” Marti.
