Beer Description
If you are a medical professional, like our master brewer was, you might be asking yourself what antidepressants have to do with beer.
Well, this beer doesn’t have any prozac in it, but the flavors are so amazing, it will lift your mood instantly! TCA, for us, stands for the three C’s and Amarillo, which are the hops in this beer. They give it its characteristic floral and citrus notes in the smell and taste, but we also kept a slightly higher percentage of caramel malts in the recipe to balance out the 70+ IBU of bitterness. It follows a traditional American IPA recipe, but with increased amounts of aromatic hops, bitterness and malt to create a balance of flavor that leaves you wanting more. Don’t you worry, even with a stronger malt backbone our IPA is very hop forward with floral and citrus flavors.
