Beer Description
This Double IPA was created for the holiday season. The darkest IPA (red/amber) we have released in recent memory, with some added chocolate rye creating some toasty, candied flavors in the malt profile which are being backed up by the other caramel malts. Then we topped this with some piney bois – Cascade, Simcoe, and Chinook – all famous for having cedar, pine, orange, wood, fruit, and spice notes. Basically itβs more seasonal than gingerbread lattes, Ugg boots, Han Solo outerwear, decorative gourds, the entire Die Hard series, and vineyard photo-shoots (Christmas card or maternity) ALL IN ONE. No pumpkins were harmed in the making of this beer.
