Beer Description
This year’s special brew is a grisette, which is a style of farmhouse ale. While the name grisette, French for “Little Grey One,” could, Lakefront notes, refer to the grey aprons the women serving the beer would wear, or else to the little grey rocks busted by miners who drank the beer – or maybe both – in the case of this new Lakefront brew, it’s a reference to the Earl Grey tea and citrus peels used to brew the beer.
